I just read jenny turner's review of your name here in the LRB, and found it fascinating and funny and left me with a great need to know more about both ms dewitt and ms turner. So went out to try to buy the last samurai and also turners' novel "breakdown" and then accessed dewitts website and here i am. never thought it would be such a good day when i woke up today in london where the sun has not shined for ages.
I also read the LRB review but living in Crete I think I may have to get someone to look me out a copy somewhere else in the world. I admire what you are doing and want you to know you are not alone. I have been trying for the past 6 years to forcibly evolve the novel format into a new and appropriate form for the 21st century and an online world. My major reference points are, in no particular order: B S Johnson, Sam Bckett, Joyce and Gilbert Sorrentino.
Read the review in LRB, bought The Last Samarai in paperback secondhand, went to your blog, donated $1.50 via Paypal (what an absolutely brilliant idea), intend to copy this idea on my own website...Looking forward to reading the book.

All good. If you're in London I think you may have to buy tls secondhand, though.
